Inside the cabin
Gather in either of the two comfortable living rooms, each with ample seating and a TV, or cozy up around one of the two beautiful fireplaces. The spacious layout provides plenty of room for everyone to relax together, while the dining table and bar seating make meals and conversations easy.

The fully equipped kitchen features a stove and oven, center island, double-door refrigerator with water and ice dispenser, dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster, Keurig coffee maker, crockpot, rice cooker, cookware, dishes and utensils.

Outdoor space
Step outside to enjoy the private hot tub, patio furniture, gas BBQ, back deck and fenced yard. It's a great space to relax in the fresh mountain air after a day at the lake or on the slopes.

Location
Located in Big Bear's Village Area, the home is about a 10-minute walk to Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain, with Big Bear Lake just across the street. The Village, restaurants and other local attractions are also within easy walking distance, while Bear Mountain and Snow Summit are just a short drive away.

Other things to note:
- Parking allowed for 3 vehicles, garage access. Steep driveway - not suitable for low profile vehicles and will require chains and 4x4 in the winter.
- Check-in: After 4:00 PM
- Check-out: Before 11:00 AM
- Maximum of 10 guests total, with no more than 8 adults.
- No pets allowed

"Loved my cabin!"

Loved my cabin!! Also the office staff is so friendly and someone is always available to help. I couldn’t locate the thermostat upon arrival and I was easily guided to its location. Cabin was a ten+ everything clean and up to my standards. Definitely will be using them for every trip we make moving forward.

"Great Getaway Home"

This home has it all — excellent views of the lake, walking distance to downtown, and super comfortable home. The gourmet kitchen is well-stocked. There are two living rooms on separate floors, each with big screen TVs, stone fireplaces, and pullout beds in the couches if you need an extra bit of sleeping space. We really appreciated having second and third story decks to have coffee on in the morning and cocktails at sunset. The kids were not bored at all between the lake, pool table on the second floor, Jacuzzi on the back deck, and plenty of boardgames! We will definitely stay At Bare Necessities again on our next trip to Big Bear...so relaxing!!!

We love our time spent here at this big cabin. Rooms for everyone to have their own space. 3 levels of roomy fun! Very clean and walking distance to shops and restaurants and the lake across the way. Views are amazing from every level. A must book!
