Description

Bring the whole group to this spacious Lower Moonridge retreat, just a close walk from Bear Mountain Ski Resort. This 2,600+ sq ft ranch-style home features 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a private hot tub and a dedicated game room packed with entertainment.

Make the most of Big Bear with adventure right outside your door. Spend the day skiing, golfing or exploring nearby trails, then come home for a hot tub soak, friendly competition in the game room or a cozy evening by the fireplace.

Inside the cabin
The bright, open living area features comfortable seating, ceiling fans, a TV, two dining tables and bar seating. Wood-burning and wood-stove fireplaces create cozy gathering spaces for relaxing after a day outdoors.

The fully equipped kitchen is designed for group meals and features stainless-steel appliances, a six-burner stove, double oven, double-door refrigerator with water and ice dispenser, dishwasher and microwave. Additional appliances include a blender, toaster, Instant Pot, Crock-Pot and Keurig latte/cappuccino maker. Dishes, pots, and pans are provided.

The dedicated game room offers something for everyone, including a pool table with poker-table overlay, air hockey, foosball, shuffleboard with bowling and an arcade machine featuring more than 1,600 games. Board games and card games are also available.

Had a blast at this property, the game room was such an amazing touch! Hot tub was warm and big and 4 parking spots was a great thing to have as well. I would definitely stay at this property again!!

We stayed at the Fox and Swan Chalet...very nice. Clean, spacious, and we loved the game room. Overall experience was good, didn't have any issues checking in or out. Would definitely stay here again!

"Decided we needed a spur of the moment…"

Decided we needed a spur of the moment trip to Big Bear. Our first thought was Big Bear Cool Cabins as we have rented through them previously and had a great experience. They did not disappoint! Check in was seamless and quick. The cabin we selected is Fox and Swan Chalet. It is just as the photos depicted. It has everything you would need or want! Great location and was spotless. We will definitely be back!! Check out was super easy. Our trip was great from start to finish. Thank you Big Bear Cool Cabins!

We just stayed here during the last snow storm and it was fantastic! The house is located on a cul de sac and it gave that extra plus for the kids to play out front. The house is large and updated. Easily fits a big family or sharing the space with multiple families. We would stay here again and highly recommend it to others. Thank you for a beautiful place!

The cabin is very nice! We went with 2 families and had plenty of room. The living room is beautiful and gives you that real cozy cabin feel. The kids enjoyed the game room. There is also a half bath that helped with having extra people. It’s a minute drive to the mountain and zoo. We would stay here again.

"Absolutely Fabulous!"

The Fox & Swan Chalet was exceptional, the amenities and extras blew me away. This was our first time renting a cabin and it exceeded our expectations. The pics don't do this place justice, in that it's much more spacious than we expected. There was an beautiful Christmas tree near the fire place that enhanced the ambiance of the inviting cabin. It was the perfect winter getaway. We loved it so much we didn't even want to leave and explore Big Bear, it was that relaxing. Our four kids enjoyed the game room, which had a pool table and other snazzy games like board games and Legos. There was so much to do in this house, it pleasant and very comfortable. Our dog had a cozy bed to sleep on and she loved the chew toys left out for her. It was a relaxing atmosphere with televisions in every single bedroom. Plenty of toiletries and towels in cabinets and drawers. And the hot tub was great! My rowdy family loved it. There were some things that I had forgotten to bring, like my iphone charger. Well, guess what, they had chargers in the living room with multiple outlets and a charger in the master bedroom. The one in the master bedroom was super fancy and had speakers built in so I blasted my music while charging my phone. Big Bear does get chilly and there were two heaters one in the front of the cabin and the other in the master bedroom, so we stayed nice and toasty the entire time. There were plenty of extra snacks, I enjoyed a complimentary cocktail a vodka tonic to be precise. I felt like the owners provided everything you would need in the home. It was better than staying in a four star hotel. We cannot wait to return. Oh and one last thing, it was sparkling clean and nicely decorated. Fox & Swan Chalet was a memorable experience and it couldn't have come at a better time. With the pandemic, remote learning and all the stress and pressure that this year has brought it was so refreshing to get away and inhale the winter crisp air; relax on a cozy coach, drink wine and watch my family be happy!
