Lovely mountain retreat
Reviewed on 2026-10-18 by HeatherAbe's Cool Cabin is in a beautiful neighborhood, close to grocery stores, coffee, and a short drive to The Village shopping and restaurants. The neighborhood was very quiet and great for walks. The cabin had 2 queen bedrooms downstairs, a master with a king upstairs, and 3 trundle beds upstairs. The trundle beds are great if you're traveling with kids, not so much if you have adults, as 6 of the beds are in one room. The house is beautiful but be prepared if you are a light sleeper that you can hear movement throughout the house if you are in the three main rooms. The kids room didn't have any issues. The only 2 downsides other than we could hear every-time someone opened a door or moved in their rooms in the night were the master bathroom jetted tub not working and that you have to take your trash out with you when you leave. Trying to coordinate driving trash across town to the Cool Cabin's office the day of checkout was a pain. Other than that the house is beautiful with plenty of couch space, a large kitchen, and a beautiful setting.

Four generations enjoyed a great weekend with all the conveniences of home! I would recommend this cabin.
