Location was perfect for our trip
Reviewed on 2025-08-25 by LoriWe come up to Big Bear a couple times a year and have stayed at various locations, but this was one of the best. We love traveling with our dogs and wanted a location close to trails and away from a main road. This place also met our need of having two family rooms - so our daughter and friend had their own “space”. Cabin had everything we needed and plenty of board games. The upstairs shower could use a bit of updating, but others than that the place was nicely furnished and comfortable.

The Space
This 1,200+ sq. ft. cabin offers two comfortable living areas, giving everyone room to relax and spread out.
Upstairs, large picture windows bring in natural light and beautiful forest views. Gather around the wood-burning fireplace, stream a movie or enjoy meals together in the open living, dining and kitchen area. Downstairs, a second living space provides even more room for the group, along with a foosball table and games for some friendly competition.
Outside, soak in the private hot tub surrounded by the peaceful mountain setting or relax on the deck with a BBQ and fresh mountain air.

Located in quiet Upper Moonridge, you’ll be close to Big Bear’s ski slopes, hiking, the lake and other year-round mountain activities while still enjoying a peaceful forest setting.
