Worth It
Reviewed on 2025-03-03 by JuanThe overall experience was really good. The main living room was pretty big and the kitchen was with 2 areas to eat on, either between the island or the table. The main living room was a pleasure and it's always nice to have central heating with how cold the area gets.The only real complaints I have are with the 2nd bedroom and one of the bathrooms. The smaller bedroom didn't feel as kept up as the rest of the house, with a few cobwebs around the edges and the full bed made quite a few creaking noises. That being said, it's also worth mentioning that the beds each had anti-bedbug sheets on the mattresses with is always a big win in more quiet places. The issue I had with the 2nd bathroom was the the door was a slide door that left a big gap for people who passed by to see into it.Overall, it's a definite recommendation, ESPECIALLY if you have a dog to let it run around the front or back yard (since both are fenced).

Grab your coffee and step onto the back deck to catch a glimpse of the lake through the trees, then head out for a day of hiking, exploring Boulder Bay or discovering Big Bear's shops and restaurants. After your adventures, come back to relax by the fireplace, play a board game with the family or let your dog enjoy the spacious fenced yard while you unwind outdoors.
Inside the cabin
The comfortable living room features plenty of seating, a Smart TV with cable, ceiling fan, dining table and a beautiful wood-burning fireplace. It's a cozy gathering space for relaxing after a day outdoors.
The kitchen features granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances, including a stove with oven, refrigerator and microwave. A blender, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pots and pans are also provided for convenient meal preparation.
Fast WiFi, board games and card games provide additional entertainment, while the dedicated workspace is convenient for guests who need to stay connected during their visit.

Outdoor space
Spread out across the expansive front and back yards, both fully fenced for added convenience when traveling with children or a furry friend. The spacious back deck offers patio seating and peek-a-boo views of Big Bear Lake, creating a peaceful spot for morning coffee, outdoor meals or relaxing in the mountain air. Patio furniture is not available during winter.

Set in Boulder Bay, this cabin puts you about a 10-minute walk from Big Bear Lake and kayak rentals, with National Forest hiking trails nearby. The Village, Snow Summit and Bear Mountain are all within an easy drive, giving you access to Big Bear's lake activities, dining, shopping and year-round mountain adventures.
