Why the tiny tv??
Reviewed on 2025-11-26 by MatthewThe cabin was clean, well-organized, and had very clear instructions on how to use everything, which was appreciated. The beds were soft, there were plenty of extra blankets, and the carpet was soft and clean. The kitchen was very large with plenty of space to cook and move around.The biggest disappointment was the TV. The cabin has a large living room with plenty of space and distance between the couch and the screen, yet the TV was extremely small. In 2025 there's no reason for a rental cabin to still have a tiny TV like this, especially when a much larger one can be purchased for around $200. For future stays, a proper-sized TV matters more than having things like a pool table or foosball table. Those amenities are nice in theory, but ultimately not a deciding factor for a return stay.The location was quiet and peaceful, and although there was only one car this trip, there was plenty of parking space. Being able to access the keys from a lock box at the cabin rather than having to go to an office first was a great convenience.The showers were nice with plenty of hot water. The spa wasn't used, and attempts to start a fire were difficult because of cold heavy air; after that experience, a gas fireplace is definitely preferred.Overall, a pleasant stay with a lot of positives, but the outdated TV setup was disappointing enough to influence future booking decisions.

Labor Day Weekend stay

From the booking the house to check out, the conversations was smooth and they replied quickly. Can't wait to come back!The Shiners!

The Space
Gather in the spacious living room after a day exploring Big Bear and relax around the wood-burning fireplace. The comfortable open layout provides plenty of room for everyone to spend time together.
For some friendly competition, head to the game room for pool, foosball, board games, cards and more.
The full kitchen features a center island and stainless steel appliances, making it easy to prepare meals at the cabin.
Outside, soak in the private hot tub, fire up the BBQ or enjoy a meal outdoors. The large fully fenced backyard and spacious front deck provide plenty of room to enjoy the fresh mountain air.

Location
Located in the desirable Fox Farm neighborhood, you'll be close to grocery stores, restaurants and year-round Big Bear activities. The Alpine Zoo and Bristlecone Trail are about a 15-minute walk away, with the lake, ski resorts, Village and golf course just a short drive from the cabin.
