Reviewed on 2026-07-09 by KristinaThe house was wonderful. Locking the front door was a bit difficult but doable. Wish the back door included a mesh screen sliding door to keep bugs out. The place was perfect for my family, friends, and dogs. Plan to come back again.

spacious cabin

Amazing experience

The warmth of the home makes it feel very welcoming and very family oriented. It is located in a perfect location so I can snow board with my family or take them for a hike within a 5 min drive. I would definitely be visiting again without hesitation. If I could thank the hosts for the hospitality of having everything that is needed to make this family get away as smooth and peaceful as possible.

The Space
The spacious family room features vaulted wood ceilings, plenty of comfortable seating and an impressive floor-to-ceiling brick fireplace—perfect for relaxing together after a day exploring Big Bear. The open kitchen and dining area provide plenty of room for group meals, with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances.
Outside, soak in the private hot tub, fire up the gas BBQ or relax on the large back deck. The fenced yard adds extra space and privacy for enjoying the mountain setting.
